We Can’t, but God Can

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power (Holy Ghost power!) that works in us, (Ephesians 3:20)

“God specializes in things that seem impossible and He will do what no other power but the Holy Ghost power can do.” Is there anything too hard for God?

Peace in Knowing

Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. (Psalms 103:2-‬6‭, ‬8)

Peace is knowing what God has done for us.

The Holy Spirit, Our Helper

“But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. (John 15:26)

Thank God for giving us His Holy Spirit to help and empower us each and everyday. His Holy Spirit that testifies (reminds) us that God is all powerful, all knowing, always present/with us. He reminds us that He is still good, faithful, full of mercy, grace and love. He reminds us that He is always completely in control of our situations and circumstances, that trouble won’t last always and guarantees us that joy will always come in the morning (soon). The Spirit of God reminds us that every promise that God made to us in His Word is Yes and Amen (it is done/so) when we ask. Let not your heart be troubled.

Prayer Always Changes Things

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly….. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.(Matthew 6:6‭, ‬8b)

When you wake up, before you lay down and all through the day pray (talk to God). Never forget the strength, peace, understanding, guidance, comfort, answers, healing, power over our challenges etc. that you receive when you go to God. Whatever you pray about God will show you and others that He heard you. He already knows what you need, go to Him and receive it.

The Gifts of Prayer and Praise

So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them,(Acts 4:24)

Oh the power of praise! Feel the comfort and encouragement that God has placed inside praise: “Lord You are God”, “Creator of all things”, “You are still/always in control”, “There is nothing too hard for You God.” No matter what happens, how things look, how things feel, what ppl think, remember the Lord Your God. Prayer and praise are your weapons and shield.

Think on His Word

But his delight is in the law (Word) of the Lord, and in His law (Word) he meditates (constantly thinks about) day and night. (Psalms 1:2)

God’s peace, strength, wisdom, power, understanding, mercy, grace, compassion, forgiveness, assurance, confidence, courage, promises, comfort, guidance, encouragement, presence, foresight (ability to see the things to come) etc. can all be found in God’s Word. The more we hear His Word (songs, books, radio, videos, audio books etc.), the more of these things we will have and have them in abundance (more than enough, enough to give to others).
